The Driver Licensing Access Program (DLAP) is a free program providing support to people in NSW who face extra challenges in getting a licence. It makes getting your driver licence accessible for community groups that may have difficulty due to employment, education, family, training, or lack of support.

The Gordon Driver Licensing Program is a successful program because it was established by 2 brothers Doug and Ashley Gordon, both have been living in Newcastle for many years with strong connections to the Aboriginal community.

Correct proof of identification is required by Service NSW when obtaining your license. Gordon Driver Licencing program will assist participants in sourcing and purchasing documents, such as birth certificates.
Gordon Driver Licencing Program will work with participants who are seeking assistance to regain a licence that has been disqualified to identify relevant training that will assist them to regain their licence.
