The DLAP assists Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander & other disadvantaged people in the community who face extra challenges to obtaining a driver’s licence. The program makes getting a licence more accessible for community groups that may have difficulty due to barriers including lack of employment, lower education, family, limited access to driver training or lack of support.
