We encourage safe driving habits to help reduce the number and severity of crashes on NSW roads. As part of this, it’s important to always be aware of other road users on and around the road, and to safely share our roads. This includes always looking out for more vulnerable road users, such as bicycle riders, motorcyclists and pedestrians, especially at intersections and roundabouts.
Discounted licences for safe drivers
Drivers with a good record can be rewarded with a half-price licence. If you have not committed any driving offences in the five years up to the date you renew your licence, you may be eligible for a 50 per cent discount on the renewal fee.
